Nissan GTR R35 – Much More Than A Supercar

The Nissan GTR R35 started life as a prototype in 2005 at the Tokyo Motor Show. Nissan announced that their new car model will be based in a very big percentage on that incredible prototype.. Incredibly they proved they were not joking about it one bit, and in 2007 they succeeded to launch the first model, turning the fabulous looking dream of a car into reality.

The car proved to be everything a speed junkie ever wished for, and more. The Japanese managed to give a whole new meaning to the idea of a “supercar” creating a technological masterpiece which became available for anybody.

The technology behind the car was unforeseen in another model before this, and both the driving experience and comfort of the driver are remarkable in the GT-R35. Nissan claimed that the car goes from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.2 seconds with the ‘launch control’ activated and in 3.8 without. And if you are the sort of driver who gets excited by the term ‘launch control’ you must really see the other incredible features the car has.

One of the most incredible feature the car has is the customizable display it has on the dashboard. The Japanese succeeded to replace the old style dashboard with a new futuristic one where you can choose exactly what you want to see, where and what size it should be.

The Japanese sports car lived to become the 2010 king of JDM, and it was also one of the most wanted import cars in the United States. The machine managed to stun the whole world with its incredible sporting pedigree and with the kind of control you get when driving at very high speeds.

Motor Trend managed to set a top speed of 195.0 mph with the Nissan GTR R35, which is 2mph faster then what Nissan themselves thought the car can achieve. This is mostly because every engine and dual-clutch gearbox mounted on the GT-R’s are made by hand, and certain features might differ between models.

The 520 hp developed by a highly engineered 3,799 cc V6 engine manage to move the 1,730 kg vehicle at speeds exceeding 193 mph, while also offering the driver perfect control over the movement of the machine during the ride.

Nissan managed to build the best vehicle ever to come out of an Asian factory. They managed to take the good parts from the old 350Z version and embed them into a much better machinery, while trying to improve on the design. This way, the GT-R35 became an incredible piece of great looking high-tech vehicle wanted all over the world. It managed to become one of the most wanted supercars of the modern days and one of the most interesting concepts.

The Japanese managed not only to build the number one sports car of 2010 when they built the Nissan GT-R R35, but also managed a fabulous technological accomplishment. The GTR is so much more than a car or a vehicle, it’s a brilliantly crafted machinery which is able to take the driving experience to a whole new level.
